Winter Travel North of Toronto Featured by CTC

Ontario's Lake Country is a designated resort destination north of Toronto recently featured by the Canadian Tourism Commission under the story headline. Weekend: Ontario’s Lake Country.

"Making friends with winter—if you’re gonna do it, this is the place."  In addition to Lake Country most of Ontario north of Toronto is a winter wonderland during the Jan. Feb. months with an array of Winter Carnivals and Winterfests ready for families and couples wanting to embrace the Canadian winter.  The Lake Country designation takes in the Orillia Ontario area which is also considered part of the Collingwood/Blue Mountain, Barrie, Midland snowbelt region of Ontario.
